Robert Polidori, Versailles @ Mary Boone Gallery

Well, Mary Boone seems to be renting out the Chelsea space again, this time to Edwyn Houk, who takes the opportunity, south of 57th St., to bring out some more dry, dead pictures of walls from Polidori. Having a shows of Polidori and Burtynsky up at the same time seems unfair to viewers. I propose that they both be locked in a room with their work and a set amount of air. Whoever survives the work sucking all life out of the room gets to keep making airtight, suffocating, boring pictures.

Through Oct. 26th
