The entire gallery is filled with extended video shots of people
in different, well-decorated but worn rooms performing the same song. The videos
surround the viewer like a pleasant, well-crafted hug with the soundtrack of an
upstate folkfest. And honestly, while watching the well-crafted still video
shots, I somehow imagine life as a full-time professor at Bard College being
exactly like this. After class, you would go hang out in a well-decorated but
worn mansion, where people would leisurely jam out on folk tunes and drink wine,
while someone cooks a large vegetarian-friendly meal. And off in the distance, crickets
chirp as the sun goes down.
