I am confused. Matthew Marks doesn’t show a lot of
photography and the people they do show tend to be famous German types and Nan
Goldin. Who is Darren Almond? And why is Mathew Marks turning over their whole
gallery to his slightly blurry, dark, dullish long exposure night shots of
pretty landscapes? It’s as if you went on a foreign vacation, and a horror director
took all your snapshots. I am confused.
