You can’t go wrong with Polaroids of young, nearly-naked people partying. There is, however, a limit to how good pictures like that can be. The only way an artist can set his work apart from similar images found Vice magazine is to depict partying that's especially crazy, as Dash Snow does in his pictures of people doing blow off erect penises. Still, outside of a Whitmanesque predilection to photograph women rubbing cream on their legs, Snow's pictures fit nicely into the visual landscape of American Apparel ads and Flickr pages full of barely-dressed young people with asymmetrical bangs.
