It is hard to walk into yet another show of one of the five artists Sonnabend shows without wondering if the space might be better utilized as a good soup and sandwich shop. The Highline is being extended and it might be a great time to open a place where you could get a reasonably priced fresh mozzarella, tomato, and pesto sandwich on multigrain with a cup of a spicy African tomato-corn soup. Think of all the hungry tourists and gallery workers. Just something for the good people at Sonnabend to consider.
